Sexual Health

If you attended a local Singaporean Secondary school, chances are that sexual health was in your syllabus. However, it’s also probably true there was nothing in your textbook about how sexual diseases are spread and affect gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender people. In Singapore, we also are not likely to receive this information from mass media or discuss our sexual health concerns with teachers, families or friends.

Not receiving culturally sensitive and accurate information about STIs increases one’s risk of contracting sexually transmitted infections if they are exploring sexually.

If you or someone you know is sexually active, it is important to guard yourself with the correct resources on sexual health information and testing.

Commonly asked questions.

1.What is HIV?

2.What are some other STIs

3.How can I protect myself?

4.Should I get tested?
