Professional Training

As a community-based organisation, we recognise that we can maximise our resources by reaching out and raising awareness about the LGBTQ community in Singapore through sharing our expertise and facilitating meaningful discussions.

Click here for our most recent series of training workshops conducted in March 2020 for professionals working in social service, education and healthcare settings.

Objective:
To empower our fellow professionals with the awareness, skills and confidence so that they are better equipped to work with their LGBTQ clients.

Types of sessions offered:

  • Skill-based and capacity building workshops for professionals working in the social service, healthcare and education sectors.

  • Awareness talks to enhance understanding of issues faced by the LGBTQ community.

  • Lectures on topics relevant to tertiary-level social work, counselling or psychology students.

Professional training fees (updated January 2024):

As a community-based, non-profit organisation, our resources are limited and providing training services is one way we generate revenue to keep our services running. As such, we charge a professional fee, depending on the nature of the event (workshop, talk or panel discussion) and the size and nature of the organisation making the training request. This could typically range from SGD 600 to SGD 900 per training hour. Please contact us if you would like to find out more.
