We have a small team comprising full-time professionals, supported by teams of trained and dedicated volunteers. The organisation is headed by an Executive Director, who reports to the Board of Directors.

Alexander joined Oogachaga in April 2020 as the organisation’s first-ever full-time Youth Worker, with his 5 years of prior experience working with the local transgender community.

Having acquired his Master of Counselling from Monash University, he is now a Youth Counsellor who oversees the YOUth Programme, as well as providing professional counselling for individuals and couples. He has a key role in continuing to support the next generation of local LGBTQ+ youth in his work.

A gay trans man himself, Alexander is also an avid music lover, aspiring dancer, and dad to a terrapin.
