Celebrate Pride Month 2025 with Oogachaga!

Globally, LGBTQ+ Pride Month is observed in June, to honour the 1969 Stonewall riots in New York City which began on the night of 28 June. This is often noted as the spark that ignited the gay liberation movement in the United States, and the birth of the modern day international movement for LGBTQ+ equality.

In recent years, the LGBTQ+ community in Singapore has also been celebrating Pride Month in June, with Pink Fest and Pink Dot usually held in the same month. We invite YOU, friends and supporters of Oogachaga, to join us in the following initiatives and events.

Kihon x Oogachaga Pride Collection (ongoing till 30 June)

Kihon (基本 or “basic” in Japanese) is a Singapore brand specialising in versatile and comfortable basicwear. Just for Pride Month, Kihon is collaborating with Oogachaga to offer their first ever Pride Collection of tees, muscle tanks and crop tops in 2 colours - pink and black - with the messages “Loud and Proud” and “Always Proud” printed on the back. Kihon will be donating 20% of sales proceeds from the Pride Collection to Oogachaga. Only whilst stocks last, so hurry and order online now!

Revolut Diversity Card (ongoing till 31 July)

Embrace every shade of the rainbow! Show your support by donating a minimum S$10 to Oogachaga through the Revolut app from your app store, and get the exclusive, physical Diversity Card for free! We know that Pride is personal, and so is Revolut’s collection of virtual cards inspired by the global LGBTQ+ community. More than 15 designs are available for free in the app, and users can find one that reflects their spirit and identity.

Sephora and Haus Labs by Lady Gaga (ongoing till 30 June)

Give proudly with Sephora and Haus Labs by Lady Gaga! In June, Sephora will donate $1 for every purchase of the Haus Labs brand to Oogachaga, to support the work we do with Singapore’s LGBTQ+ community. Cloversoft online sales (ongoing till 30 June)

For the month of June, 5% of online sales from the website will be donated to Oogachaga. Additionally, free Petite Wipes will be given out from the Oogachaga booth at the Pink Dot Community Tent on 28 June, Saturday afternoon!

Project PINK: Pool Party Edition (14 June, Saturday)

Poolside meets Purpose at Canyon Club, Mondrian Duxton, where Project: [PINK] comes alive with performances by drag queens and DJs. It’s all sun, sound and community, with a portion of ticket sales to be donated to Oogachaga.

Community Volunteer Fair (15 June, Sunday)

We’re excited to be at Proud Spaces for the 2nd edition of their Community Volunteer Fair. Oogachaga will be recruiting new volunteers for our Whatsapp and Email counselling services, with a booth selling merchandise. Also check out other booths run by fellow LGBTQ+ community groups, and discover exciting opportunities to make a difference within the LGBTQ+ community. This event is open to everyone regardless of your nationality, sexual orientation and gender identity.

Pink Fest Run (21 June, Saturday)

In collaboration with ACAVE and SG Frontrunners, all proceeds from the sale of Pink Fest Run singlets will be donated to Oogachaga. You can register for the run and buy a piece or two! See this page for details.

Pink Dot SG (28 June, Saturday)

Oogachaga staff and volunteers will be out in full strength running our booth at the Community Tent at Pink Dot 17, happening on 28 June, Saturday afternoon at Hong Lim Park. Come say hello and collect some freebies while you’re there! This event is for Singapore citizens and permanent residents only.

Corporate Engagement (all throughout June & beyond)

Oogachaga staff have been invited by different corporate partners in the pharmaceutical, retail, legal, technology and financial sectors to conduct Pride month-related corporate engagement sessions, including allyship & awareness workshops, fireside chats and panel discussions.
