Phone Hotline Counselling
The hotline service was first launched on 14 February 2006 as the Oogachaga MSM Hotline. Over the years, the service evolved into Singapore's only telephone hotline for the LGBTQ+ community.
With the introduction of Email counselling (CARE@oogachaga.com) in 2010 & WhatsApp counselling (85920609) in 2013, hotline callers have been on the decline.
The service was temporarily suspended from April 2020 during the Circuit Breaker, since measures imposed to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic meant that volunteers were unable to take calls from the office.
After 16 years, in July 2022 the phone hotline was closed for service due to a lack of demand.
